Why Should You Use Homeopathy?

Because your health is your most valued possession. Illness is costly in terms of time off work, prescription fees, altered life style... Whereas Homeopathy is gentle, cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and it stimulates your body to heal itself.

Patient-Centered Care
Homeopathy is truly patient-centered care. At the first appointment, all of your symptoms will be examined in great detail, and a thorough medical history is taken. It is important for the homeopath to understand how you experience your disease, and what your specific symptoms are. Then an individualized remedy and plan for care can be decided upon.

Homeopathy is a well established system of medicine that has been used by doctors and other healthcare professionals for over two hundred years. There are three Homeopathic NHS hospitals in the UK.

Most people can be helped in some way by homeopathy. I have often seen homeopathy help people who have not been helped by other forms of medical intervention.

I have been consulted as a homeopath by people with many conditions, including:

  • infertility
  • children's health and behavioural problems
  • women's health issues
  • stress
  • eczema and psoriasis
  • depression and anxiety
  • constipation and other bowel irregularities
  • sleep disorders
  • allergies and hayfever
  • respiratory problems
  • pregnancy and childbirth

Homeopathic remedies are safe to use during pregnancy and for the treatment of small babies and children. They have no side effects and can be taken at the same time as pharmaceutical prescriptions.
I offer personalised first aid kits, birthing kits, hay fever kits, and travel kits. Get in touch for more information on whether a personalised remedy kit would suit your needs.

My clinic in Cookham, on the border of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, is within easy reach of Maidenhead, Marlow and Bourne End. The clinic is within walking distance of Cookham train station, and it is wheelchair accessible. I see patients from all over the UK, including London, High Wycombe, Watford, Birmingham, Yorkshire and Wales. I have patients in Europe and Canada. I have also worked as a homeopath in Africa.
I offer international consultations via skype, telephone and email. Home visits can be arranged for patients in Maidenhead, Bourne End, Marlow, High Wycombe and Beaconsfield.
I am a Nurse, and I have a BA in Psychology and a BSc in Homeopathy. I am a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths.
Call me for a free 15 minute telephone consultation to discuss whether homeopathic treatment would be right for you or a family member. Or email me with any questions you may have.

I enjoy speaking to groups, and have lots of experience teaching homeopathic first aid. If you would like a course specifically designed for your group and taught by me, do email me via this website.

"I was never much of a believer in homeopathy until a friend recommended me to Catie Sharples. Catie was brilliant at understanding my health problems – 2 of which included long term sinusitis & infertility. Homeopathic remedies that Catie has prescribed for me have been successful, unlike various other drugs & health supplements I was taking before I met Catie. I had a very healthy pregnancy & birth & now use homeopathic remedies for myself & my family members whenever needed. Highly recommended!"
