Homeopathy For Individuals and Families

My name is Catie Sharples and I am a registered homeopath and a member of the Society of Homeopaths , a Professional Standards Accredited register. Homeopathy is a well established form of medicine that has been used for over two hundred years. There are three Homeopathic NHS hospitals in the UK. I have been a complementary and alternative medicine practitioner in Cookham, Berkshire for fifteen years. Prior to completing an honours degree in Homeopathy at the University of Westminster, I worked as a Registered nurse in medicine and psychiatry in Canada. I also worked in community mental health in Vancouver, and I have a BA in Psychology and training in family counselling.
I am also a Scenar Practitioner, and I offer Scenar Therapy from my clinic in Cookham. Scenar treatment, which uses a small electronic biofeedback device, can be effective for any type of acute or chronic pain. Scenar Therapy was developed by the Russian Space Agency in the 1960's for use by the astronauts to treat any illness without drugs. It is a highly sophisticated therapeutic device, and is being used effectively in hospitals, rehab centres, and elite sports teams.

My clinic in Cookham, on the border of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, is within easy reach of Maidenhead, Marlow and Bourne End. The clinic is within walking distance of Cookham train station, and it is wheelchair accessible. I see patients from all over the UK, including London, High Wycombe, Watford, Birmingham, Yorkshire and Wales. I have patients in Europe and Canada. I have also worked as a homeopath in Africa.
I offer international consultations via skype, telephone and email. Home visits can be arranged for patients in Maidenhead, Bourne End, Marlow, High Wycombe and Beaconsfield.

Most people can be helped in some way by homeopathy and/or scenar therapy.
Homeopathy and Scenar Therapy can often help patients that have not been helped by conventional, pharmaceutical medicine and by other forms of complementary/alternative medicine.
The British Homeopathic Association has prepared a list of trials which

I have been consulted as a homeopath by people with many conditions, including:

  • infertility
  • children's health and behavioural problems
  • women's health issues
  • stress
  • eczema and psoriasis
  • depression and anxiety
  • constipation and other bowel irregularities
  • sleep disorders
  • allergies and hayfever
  • respiratory problems
Homeopathic remedies are safe to use during pregnancy and for the treatment of small babies and children. They have no side effects and can be taken at the same time as pharmaceutical prescriptions.

Scenar Therapy can help relieve many types of pain quickly, such as:
  • acute or chronic back pain
  • neck pain
  • tennis elbow
  • golfers elbow
  • repetitive strain injury
  • sports injuries
  • ongoing post-surgical pain
The use of Scenar Therapy and Homeopathy combined speeds up any healing process, and gets the patient back to normal functioning much more quickly.

Please call me for a free 15 minute telephone consultation to discuss whether homeopathic treatment or Scenar therapy would be right for you. Or email me with any questions you may have.

"I was never much of a believer in homeopathy until a friend recommended me to Catie Sharples. Catie was brilliant at understanding my health problems – 2 of which included long term sinusitis & infertility. Homeopathic remedies that Catie has prescribed for me have been successful, unlike various other drugs & health supplements I was taking before I met Catie. I had a very healthy pregnancy & birth & now use homeopathic remedies for myself & my family members whenever needed. Highly recommended!"

    Latest News:

The Swiss Government has announced plans to give Homeopathy the same status as conventional medicine by May 2017.

A recent study published in the GMS Journal for Medical Education, showed that when Homeopathy is taught as an elective in undergraduate medical studies, it helps students acquire specific knowledge in integrative medicine, and is also important as a means of developing physicians' core skills that are often not well considered in conventional medical education.
